UBA Information & Membership 2025/2026

Welcome to the Underground Bowling Association (UBA)! We are a Bowling Entertainment Platform devoted to providing the most exciting and in-your-face bowling entertainment out there. Our bowlers belong to UBA Franchises that compete against each other in specially designed team matches and events. So, come join us and become part of something bigger than any bowling league - become a member of the UBA!
Do you need help forming a team? Recruiting bowlers is the preferred method when it comes to team formation. You should aim for at least nine members, although we recommend having fifteen or more total on your roster. When setting up your team, make sure it's composed of both male and female participants, people of varying ages (at least 18 years old) and a mix of scratch and handicap bowlers.
UBA rosters can accommodate up to 100 members if you choose to have that many. However, only active bowlers listed as such on your roster will be eligible to compete in official UBA tournaments/events. Regional tour pros or PBA members may join if they give their permission; keep in mind that they will be subject to the same conditions as non-touring pro UBA members.
If you want some additional competition with action involved but not an official tournament/event setting, call out matches are available for teams wishing to challenge each other anytime. Additionally, there are Regional Tours from September until June where teams can compete against one another each week for prizes totaling over $100,000 at the end of the Tour season! Furthermore, ranking matches offer individual UBA bowlers an opportunity to prove themselves among some of the best in the business by climbing their way up through different rankings tiers -which come with awards and accolades upon reaching its peak!

Are you ready to join the UBA? With at least 9 bowlers, you can start your own team and get all of the benefits that come with it. Our franchise fees are incredibly affordable—just $700 for the start-up fee and a yearly Franchise Fee of only $395! This includes everything from logo and jersey creation, processing fees, and a one time $500 apparel credit for your entire team. And we'll provide all of the paperwork needed to get started: instructions on creating your UBA jersey, rosters, bowler contracts, UBA By Laws and sample of team rules. Once everything is approved by us we'll announce your new franchise to everyone in the association!. After that's done you'll be added to our next season tour schedule - then it's time for some fun! To Join the UBA as a FREE AGENT.
Joining the UBA as a free agent is a great way to get involved in the association while retaining your independence. As a UBA Free Agent, you'll be able to bowl independently in all of our exciting singles events. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to fill in as a substitute player on any UBA franchise and participate in team events - all without having to be on their team's official roster.
By becoming a UBA Free Agent, you'll be able to experience the best of both worlds. You can enjoy the flexibility and convenience of bowling independently while still being part of the larger UBA community. With our diverse range of events and tournaments, there's always something new and exciting to participate in.

TO FORM A UBA DISTRICT IN YOUR AREA.
To form a UBA (Underground Bowling Association) District in your area, begin by identifying a respected individual with strong organizational skills to serve as our UBA District Manager. The UBA and our partners will provide comprehensive training and support. While the District Manager is responsible for collaborating with local bowling centers to secure venues, recruit teams and bowlers, establish season tour play and events, and maintain communication with participants, the UBA's Director of Operations will work directly with the neighboring bowling centers on all scheduling matters. This hands-on involvement ensures that the District Manager learns and understands the UBA’s operational strategies, enabling them to effectively grow and develop the district into a vibrant and engaging UBA bowling community.
