NEW LINEAL CHAMPION OF THE UBA
MINEOLA NY: On April 20th, 2013 at AMF Sheridan Lanes, 3 of the elite bowlers of the UBA competed in a TRIPLE THREAT battle where the 1st bowler to win 3 games will become/remain the Lineal Champion of the UBA. Current Champion Adam Chase of the Strong Island Senate, Quentin Collins of the Young Gunz, & Jr Johnson of the Shooters were set to do battle. Opening game went to Jr, doubling in the 10th to secure a 5 pin win over Collins. Johnson immediately started off game 2 where he left game 1 & connected on 11 straight strikes & leaving a 10 pin on his final attempt which resulted in a 299 game & and comfortable 2-0-0 lead. Chase started game 3 the same way Johnson started game 2 and finished the job bowling a perfect 300 game cutting Johnson's lead to 1 game. Game 4 began with several lead changes as all 3 bowlers struggled to carry on key hits. In the end, Johnson was the best finisher in the foundation frames as he captured game 4 & became the UBA's Lineal Champion by successfully being the 1st bowler to win 3 games
