The Strike Zone inc. is owned and operated by professional bowling ball driller and instructor, Tim Pallai. Tim has over 35 years experience in the bowling industry and is a former member of the Professional Bowlers Association. The Strike Zone Pro Shop offers a wide variety of products and services including: Bowling Ball Drilling: Our specialty is drilling oval holes the same shape as your fingers and thumb. We have been using this technology for over 25 years. A sophisticated mill/drill allows the professional ball driller to customize finger holes to exact customer specifications. Tim has also been educated on the topic of cover stock and core dynamics related to setting up a bowling ball for different environments for each individuals bowling style. Tim was certified as a Bowling Instructor in 1980 by Jack and LaVerne Edler, long considered bowling's premier teachers, both had long and distinguished careers in the sport of bowling. Their excellence in teaching resulted in "300" magazine calling them "the greatest team of teaching professionals ever to walk on any lanes." Their writing efforts include the prestigious "Teaching Professionals Manual," "The Competitive Bowlers Manual" and other bowling books. Tim uses past experience from this certification in his individual lessons, classes, and camps. Tim has 12 - perfect games, 4 - 800 series, and many other honor scores along with his knowledge of equipment and lane conditions has made it possible for him to help 1000's of bowlers improve at every level. Topics of his instruction include: how to build a sound physical game, modern practice techniques and targeting, reading and adjusting to lane conditions, as well as the changes in modern bowling equipment. Tim is dedicated to helping bowlers help themselves! REMEMBER: Bowling equipment can be bought just about anywhere but can bowling knowledge?
