EVENTS ARE OPEN TO ALL OFFICIAL UBA MEMBERS. MEMBERS ARE PERMITTED TO COMPETE AT MORE THAN 1 LOCATION.

Time: 9AM CHECK-IN / 10AM START FOR EACH LOCATION.

Entry Fee: $240 per team...($60 Deposit will guarantee team entry on a 1st come/1st serve basis)

***PREPAY TAB WILL BE AVAILABLE ON TUESDAY MARCH 20TH 2018 AT 6PM***

To Prepay: All $60 deposits or $240 pay in full must be submitted from the www.ubatv.tv website by locating the NE GAUNTLET tab & selecting your desired location from the drop menu. Prepay deadline date for location #1 will be Wed April 18th 2018 & for locations #2 thru #4 will be Wed Apr 25th 2018.

Eligibility:

Teams may consist of any 4 official UBA members from any team & any gender mix where the lowest 2 averages receive hdcp off 80% of 250 & other 2 members bowl scratch. MEMBERS MUST USE THEIR HIGHEST BOWL.COM WINTER LEAGUE AVERAGE FROM THE PAST 2 SEASONS (2015-16,2016-17) BASED ON A 21 GAME MINIMUM. MEMBERS WHO WERE OFFICIALLY RERATED IN THE 2016-17 SEASON MUST USE THAT RERATED AVERAGE IF ITS HIGHER THAN THEIR LAST 2 YEAR BOWL.COM AVERAGE. MEMBERS WITH NO VALID AVERAGE THAT MEET THE AVERAGE REQUIREMENTS LISTED ABOVE MUST ENTER AT A 250 AVERAGE. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

Max Entries per location:

Location #1- 32 teams

Location #2- 48 teams

Location #3- 24 teams

Location #4- 32 teams

Format:

OPENING ROUND - All teams will blind draw lane assignments before the event begins. Teams will be bowling against the opposing team on their pair. Opening Round is 3 games. Highest team total pin fall on each pair will win and advance to round 2. ANY TIES TO DETERMINE WHO ADVANCES TO THE NEXT ROUND WILL BE BROKEN BY A 1 BALL ROLL-OFF BY ANY MEMBER ON THE TEAM. HIGHEST PINFALL WILL BREAK THE TIE & THAT TEAM WILL ADVANCE.

ELIMINATION ROUNDS - All teams will draw lane assignments before beginning any eliminating round. Teams will blind draw in the total pinfall order of how they advanced. Example, Top qualifier picks 1st, then proceed in order. Elimination rounds are 1 game total pinfall + hdcp. Elimination rounds continue until there are 2 teams remaining. IF AN ELIMINATING ROUND IS DETERMINED WITH AN UNEVEN AMOUNT OF WINNERS, THE HIGHEST LOSING TEAM FROM THE PREVIOUS ROUND WILL ADVANCE TO EVEN OUT THE MATCHUPS. ANY TIES TO DETERMINE WHO ADVANCES TO THE NEXT ROUND WILL BE BROKEN BY A 1 BALL ROLL-OFF BY ANY MEMBER ON THE TEAM. HIGHEST PINFALL WILL BREAK THE TIE & THAT TEAM WILL ADVANCE.

Incentives: Pots & brackets (hdcp & scr) will be available during the Opening round for all members competing.

TIME: 9AM CHECK-IN / 10AM START TIME

ENTRY FEE: $360 PER TEAM (PREPAID $60 PER TEAM DEPOSITS ARE REQUIRED TO RESERVE TEAM SPOTS. FULL CASH BALANCES ARE DUE AT CHECK-IN TIME OF THE EVENT.

ENTRY MAX: 38 TEAMS

Each franchise team can use anywhere between 3-6 bowlers per team. SWITCHING TEAMS IN BETWEEN ROUNDS IS NOT PERMITTED IF A FRANCHISE HAS MULTIPLE TEAMS BOWLING. The team you are initially signed up to bowl with after check-in is completed is the team you must stay on for the entire event. Teams may edit their roster at the start of practice of each round but must use members on their initial roster that was finalized at check-in.

FORMAT: Relay is 3 Rounds

Round 1: Each team must submit 3 HDCP bowlers and bowl 3 games each.

Round 2: Each team must submit 2 bowlers 1 SCRATCH & 1 HANDICAP and bowl 3 games each.

Round 3: Each team must submit 1 SCRATCH bowler and bowl 3 games each.

** Point system for each round will be based on the number of entries. For example, if there are a total of 60 teams, 1st place per round will be 60 pts, 2nd will be 59pts, 3rd will be 58pts.......60th place = 1pt.

Final Standings will be determined by tallying all points per team/per round.

HANDICAP & AVERAGES: HDCP BASE WILL BE 80% OF 250. MEMBERS MUST USE THEIR HIGHEST BOWL.COM WINTER LEAGUE AVERAGE FROM THE PAST 2 SEASONS (2015-16,2016-17) BASED ON A 21 GAME MINIMUM. The UBA would like to congratulate Stephanie Casey (BC Crew) & Timothy Morgan (The Syndicate) for capturing the Female & Male MVP awards for bowling the highest 5-game scratch set during the Northeast Region Unholy Alliance Mixed Triples event this past weekend. Casey rolled games of 290, 258, 236, 253 & 202 for a 1239 series, while Morgan rolled games of 277, 278, 190, 247 & 300 for a 1292 series. Both will receive $250 sponsored by Dunkin Donuts.

TEAMS MISSING THE PREPAY & ROSTER SUBMISSION DEADLINE & WISH TO COMPETE MUST PAY $210 CASH ONLY WALK-IN FEE (if space permits). SHOULD A SQUAD NOT SELL OUT, TEAMS MAY RE-ENTER ANOTHER SQUAD AS A WALK-IN TEAM FOR THE SAME $180 ENTRY FEE AS LONG AS ITS THE SAME EXACT 3 BOWLERS. SATURDAY FORMAT: (Based on 38 teams per squad)

TEAMS MUST CONSIST OF ANY 3 BOWLERS FROM THE SAME FRANCHISE. TEAMS WILL BOWL 6 GAMES TOTAL, 3 TRADITIONAL GAMES PER MEMBER & 3 UBA BAKER ACROSS 4 LANES, MOVING ONE PAIR TO THE RIGHT FOLLOWING GAME 3, SEEKING TO MAKE THE TOP 1/3 SQUAD CUT. FIRST 3 GAMES WILL BE TEAM FORMAT & NEXT 3 WILL BE UBA BAKER FORMAT. UBA BAKER FORMAT: Bowler #1 bowls frames 1-3, Bowler #2 bowls frames 4-6, & bowler #3 bowls frames 7-10. TOTALS FROM BOTH 3 GAME SETS WILL BE ADDED TOGETHER TO DETERMINE TEAM TOTALS PER SQUAD. TOP 12 TEAMS FROM EACH SQUAD ADVANCES TO THE ELIMINATION ROUND WHICH WILL BE HELD ON SUNDAY, DECEMBER 17^TH at 10AM SHARP!!!!.

SUNDAY ELIMINATION ROUND FORMAT: (Based on 36 teams)

1ST ELIMINATION ROUND, EACH MEMBER BOWLS 3 TRADITIONAL GAMES & THE TOP 12 TEAMS WILL ADVANCE. 2ND ELIMINATION ROUND WILL BE 1 UBA BAKER ELIMINATION GAME. TOP 4 WILL ADVANCE TO THE SEMI-FINALS. EACH SEMI-FINAL TEAM BOWLS 1 UBA BAKER ELIMINATING GAME & THE TOP 2 TEAMS WILL BOWL TO DETERMINE THE LAST TEAM STANDING.

THE BREAKDOWN FOR THE ELIMINATION ROUNDS WILL BE ANNOUNCED. CUT NUMBERS WILL BE BASED ON THE NUMBER OF TEAMS MAKING IT TO THE SUNDAY ELIMINATION ROUND.

HDCP & AVGS: HDCP BASE WILL BE 80% OF 250. MEMBERS MUST USE THEIR HIGHEST BOWL.COM WINTER LEAGUE AVERAGE FROM THE PAST 2 SEASONS (2015-16,2016-17) BASED ON A 21 GAME MINIMUM. MEMBERS WHO WERE OFFICIALLY RERATED IN THE 2016-17 SEASON MUST USE THAT RERATED AVERAGE IF ITS HIGHER THAN THEIR LAST 2 YEAR BOWL.COM AVERAGE. MEMBERS WITH NO VALID AVERAGE THAT MEET THE AVERAGE REQUIREMENTS LISTED ABOVE MUST ENTER AT A 250 AVERAGE. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
