THE NORTHEAST REGION GAUNTLET (New event)

LOCATION: LODI LANES (58 TERHUNE AVE LODI, NJ 07644
DATE: SATURDAY APRIL 29TH 2017
TIME: 9 AM BEGINS CHECK-IN / 10 AM EVENT START TIME
ENTRY FEE: $240 per team...($60 Deposit will guarantee team entry on a 1st come/1st serve basis)
***PREPAY TAB WILL BE AVAILABLE STARTING MONDAY MARCH 13TH 2017 AT 6PM***
All $60 deposits or $240 pay in full must be submitted from the www.ubatv.tv website, finding the UBA Prepayments tab & clicking on the sub-tab titles NE REGION GAUNTLET.
THIS EVENT WILL BE MAXED OUT AT 32 TEAMS. Prepay deadline date will be Sunday April 23rd 2017.
Eligibility:
Teams may consist of any 4 official UBA members from any team & any gender mix where the lowest 2 averages receive hdcp off 80% of 250 & other 2 members bowl scratch.
Format:
OPENING ROUND - 32 Teams will draw lane assignments before the event begins. Teams will be bowling against the opposing team on their pair. Opening Round is 3 games. Highest team total pin fall on each pair will win and advance to round 2. 16 winning teams will advance to round 2.
ROUND 2 - 16 teams draw lane assignments. Teams will be bowling 1 elimination game against the opposing team on their pair. 8 team winners will advance to Quarterfinal Round.
QUARTERFINAL ROUND - 8 teams draw lane assignments. Teams will be bowling 1 elimination game against the opposing team on their pair. 4 team winners will advance to the Final 4.
FINAL 4 - 4 teams draw lane assignments. Teams will be bowling 1 elimination game against the opposing team on their pair. 2 team winners will advance to the Championship Round.
CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND - 1 GAME TO DETERMINE WHO RAN THE GAUNTLET.
***FOR EACH ELIMINATION ROUND, ADVANCING TEAMS WILL BE CHOOSING THEIR LANE ASSIGNMENTS (Blind draw) IN TOTAL PINFALL ORDER OF THE ROUND THEY ADVANCED FROM. Example, Top qualifier picks 1st, then proceed in order.
***ANY TIES TO DETERMINE WHO ADVANCES TO THE NEXT ROUND WILL BE BROKEN BY A 1 BALL ROLL-OFF BY ANY MEMBER ON THE TEAM. HIGHEST PINFALL WILL BREAK THE TIE & THAT TEAM WILL ADVANCE.
Incentives: Pots & brackets (hdcp & scr) will be available during the Opening round.
Top Prize: $2,000 1st place (1:6 payout ratio).....**TOP 5 CASH**
***5TH PLACE WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE HIGHEST TOTAL PINFALL BETWEEN ALL TEAMS ELIMINATED IN THE QUARTERFINAL ROUND. IF THERE IS A TIE, PRIZE MONEY WILL BE SPLIT.***
