The Underground Bowling Association presents: THE DMV DRAFT (2020).

EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL OFFICIAL UBA TEAMS

Location: Greenway Bowl: 8246 Telegraph Rd. Odenton, MD 21113

Date: Sunday January 19th 2020.

Time: 12pm start time (11am begins check-in)

Entry fee: $300 per team($60 team deposits must be prepaid to guarantee entry. All cash balances due at check-in time of the event).

- 1st come / 1st serve basis will be used.

To prepay, members must be signed into their ubatv.tv account, find the EVENT PRE-PAYMENTS tab, select the DMV DRAFT sub tab & prepay a deposit or pay in full.

THIS EVENT IS A 5 PERSON SCRATCH TEAM EVENT WITH AN 1115 TEAM AVERAGE CAP WHERE EACH TEAM MUST CONSIST OF THE FOLLOWING:

1 Heavyweight (male or female)

1 Vixen (A female)

1 Cruiserweight (Any Male/Female with 215 or below avg)

1 Tag Team (Any 2 members that do not exceed a 430 avg cap)

ONLY OFFICIAL MEMBERS ON FRANCHISES & OFFICIAL INDEPENDENT MEMBERS ARE ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE. TEAMS CAN CONSIST OF ANY 5 OFFICIAL MEMBERS OF THE UBA.

FORMAT: Each team will bowl 3 games on the same pair of lanes & the Top 5 teams will advance to the stepladder round. The stepladder round will begin with the #5 seeded team vs #4 seeded team. One game elimination round will be broken down into 5 individual matches. Team that wins 3 out of 5 singles matches will advance. Example: 5th seed's Heavyweight vs 4th seed's Heavyweight, Vixens vs Vixens, Cruiserweight vs Cruiserweight, & Tag Team vs Tag Team. Tag Team will be broken down into 2 individual match play match-ups. The higher seeded team will determine these 2 singles matchups. Winning team will bowl the #3 seed, winners of that match will bowl #2 seed & winners of the #2 match will bowl the #1 seed to determine the overall winners.

AVERAGES: The UBA will use the highest recorded USBC/UBA standard or converted average of the following (21+ game minimum)

1. USBC 2017 SUMMER (located in the 2016-17 section of bowl.com)
2. USBC 2017-18 WINTER
3. USBC 2018 SUMMER (located in the 2017-18 section of bowl.com)
4. USBC 2018-19 WINTER
5. UBA Average(Rolling): Starting with 2018-19 UBA Season Tour and Event scores (9+ games)

Members without an average that meets any of the guidelines listed above, must bowl at a 250 average. A rerate can be requested by submitting a rerate request form located on the ubatv.tv website in the forms & documents section & reading the UBA's rerate policy(same location).

1. A UBA Rolling average will be determined as the rolling average of and up to the most recent 50 UBA Season Tour and Event games.
2. No games prior to September 1, 2018 will be used in this calculation.
3. Rolling averages will not take effect in the middle of a given set. 9+ games are required at the beginning of play for that event for this average to be considered.

If a UBA member does not have a valid USBC bowling number and/or average, then they must bowl scratch at all official UBA events. The UBA Executive Office reserves the right to adjust or re-rate the average of any member at any time.

MEMBERS WITH NO VALID AVERAGE THAT MEET THE AVERAGE REQUIREMENTS LISTED ABOVE MUST ENTER AT A 250 AVERAGE. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
