QUALIFIER RULES
The Rankings Qualifier Tournament will be $60 for each team’s first entry and $30 for each re-rentry. Score will be compiled from league scores bowled during the week. THE RANKINGS QUALIFIER IS A SEPARATE TOURNAMENT AND PAYOUT FOR THE RESULTS OF THE RANKINGS QUALIFIER IS SEPARATE OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES.
Scores will be submitted to the Rankings Official with a clear picture of the RECAP SHEET in a Direct Message or Email.
RECAP sheet MUST be signed by opposing team captain, be dated, and be submitted to Rankings Official AT THE conclusion of bowling. Scores may be verified by Rankings Official with League Officer.
Tag Team bowlers DO NOT have to bowl in the same league.
Tag Team bowlers DO NOT have to bowl on the same night.
Tag Team bowlers DO NOT have to bowl in the same house.
Rankings official will tabulate TAG TEAM SCORES when both recaps are received and update the master standings sheet.
Standings will be based on the TAG TEAM’s best 6-game total using the best 3-game league sets from each bowler from the SAME WEEK. No scores from multiple weeks will be combined.
Teams may only enter once weekly and entry must be paid before any bowling for score begins. Bowlers must indicate which league (If they bowl multiple leagues) on the entry form where their scores will count. EX: Bowler A bowls on Tuesday and Friday. Bowler A must choose, at the time of entry, which league scores will be used for the week.
How does it work:
Teams first entry is submitted under the pre-payments tab on the UBATV.TV website.
The Form will ask for the names of the bowlers on the tag team and their UBA Franchise.
The Form will require bowlers to select the league name and night of the week that scores will be used.
The Form will require the team to identify one of the four weeks allowed for qualifying identified below.
Bowlers bowl league and submit verified recaps (See Rule #2 above) at the conclusion of league to the Rankings Official with a Clear photo.
Rankings Official adds the two scores together (includes any negative handicap) and posts score on Standings Sheet.
There will be FOUR WEEKS OF QUALIFYING.
Week 1 – Saturday, January 7th (12:00 AM) thru Friday, January 13th (11:59 PM)
Week 2 – Saturday, January 14th (12:00 AM) thru Friday, January 20th (11:59 PM)
Week 3 – Saturday, January 21st (12:00 AM) thru Friday, January 27th (11:59 PM)
Week 4 – Saturday, January 28th (12:00 AM) thru Friday, February 3rd (11:59 PM)
Ties in the standings after the qualifier will split any winnings for those positions.
The initial championship series rankings list will be determined by total pins (Highest to lowest minus any negative handicap). Ties in total pins will be broken based on the following in order from top to bottom:
Higher game 1 team total.
Higher game 2 team total.
Higher game 3 team total.
