Well this week I bowled better with a 748 series after a couple weeks of kind of struggling. I had games of 234+256+258 for the 748 series. I did have 2 open frames both were missed 10 pins. One in the first game and the other in the second, my third game was clean. I used the Brunswick Seige today with a 1000 abralon finish. The ball matched up pretty good today Even though the left lane was tighter than the right, I feel like I made the right ball choice

Today I had a 639 in our Friday morning league. I had five open frames this was the worst I had bowled for a while in this league, but I am nursing a tennis elbow problem, man it hurts. Well enough of the excuses I am not a 234 average bowler anyway. I had games of 232+205+202 for the 639. I did leave more 10 pins today and the carry has been tougher at this center the last three times I bowled there. In addition, I am in a little bit of a slump in all the centers I bowl in as well. I like the high scoring environment myself. I use the magic on the right lane and the playmaker left. I do think I used the wrong ball in the playmaker today, as the conditions seem to be more in and out to the dry rather than down to the dry.

Today I decided to bowl in our monthly scratch tournament, it is a 5 gamer. Well I got to bowl with 2 of the areas best bowlers and both were nationals champions, one of which had a 300 game and had 30 strikes in arrow; he was top seed for the day. Now my scores I was 105 over for the 5 game and had an open every game. I used my ebonite magic with a 2000 abralon finish on it. I was happy I bowled this month, but never cashed. This week I had a 668 series in my Friday morning, I posted games of 247+215+206 for the 668 series. I did have 3 open frames, 2 were splits both were the 4,6,7 pins in the second game the ball over reacted in the dry area of the lane and I missed a 10 pin in the 9th frame of the 3rd game. I did try a couple different bowling balls this week a Storm Reign and a Columbia 300 Full Swing, I used the Reign on the left lane and the Full Swing on the right, both had 2000 abralon surface. Well this week I bowled twice, one in my normal Friday morning league, then as a sub in a Friday night scratch league. Both outings were in two different centers. I had a 706 series Friday morning with games of 256+193+257 for the 706 I used my ebonite magic with 2000 abralon on the right lane and playmaker on the left also with 2000 abralon surface. Now Friday night I will say I do not match up well in this center on this league I had a 584 series with games of 193+213+178 for the 584 series. This shot seems playable but I feel like I am just A hair off or I almost got it figured out, but never do. Well I do not bowl there much so I guess that’s my excuse, but other bowlers tell me the shot is tougher this season in this league. I just do not match up well there. This week I had a 747 series in my Friday morning league. I posted games of 246+268+233 for the 747 series. I did have 1 open frames, all in my 3rd game, I left an 8, 10 pin split had and split in the 6h frame. I had a good look and broke the 3rd game jinks. I did have 3 open frames, all in my 3rd game, I misses a 10 pin had and 8, 10 split and the 4,6,10 split in the 10th frame. I had a good look my first to games then lost my rhythm the 3rd game. This week I had a 719 series in my Friday morning league. I posted games of 247+258+214 for the 719 series. I did not have any open frames I even picked up the all my 10 pins. Still the lanes seem to be drying out the last game. Well I used My Brunswick Siege on the right lane and the Ebonite Magic on the left; I used 1000 abralon pad on the siege and 2000 on the magic. Then I bowled an annual sweeper on Friday night it is a 5 gamer the scoring pace is so high they had 62 entries and it took 195 over to get the last check. I only averaged 213 with a 1067, I was not carrying just getting hard to compete even with scores I use to cash with will not cash anymore. I usually average about 230 to 235 in this tournament and I cannot cash anymore with that. This week I was on fire, I am almost afraid to post my score as I don’t think anyone will believe me. Last week I was ashamed to post them now I afraid. Well here it goes after the struggle last week I had my all time high score in league with an 846 series, my games were 278+289+279=846. This was my 4th 800 series in league. I even had an open in the 1st frame of the first game, I missed the 10 pin. I left 3, 10 pins and a 4 pin the rest were strikes. I used my ebonite magic on the right lane and my Brunswick twisted fury solid on the left lane. The magic had 2000 abralon and the twisted fury had 1000 on it. Well this week I bowled on Friday morning and Friday night as a sub. I really struggled for what I have been bowling I am in a slump plus the shots tougher. I had a 615 Friday morning with 4 opens 2 of which were 7, 10 splits in the pocket. Then I only had a 566 in the evening I was pretty much lost in this house, I just don‘t match up well at this center. It is a scratch league and other team members tell me they are 20 pins down in this league from last year and from there other nights. Well I only sub and it is a tougher shot. Well this week I only bowled on Friday morning. I did pretty well having a 692 with two open frames, both were 8, 10 pocket splits. My games were 222+214+256 to the 692 series. I used my ebonite magic on the left lane and my Brunswick siege on the right. The magic had 2000 abralon and my siege had 1000 abralon pad surface. Well I have been busy and having trouble keeping up with posting my bowling scores. I have 3 outings to post. First I got called to sub last Friday night I had a 646 with 3 open frames, I must note this is a 5 on a team scratch league. In addition, the pattern changes every week and is tough at times. I used my ebonite magic which gave me the best reaction the last game and had a 236 game. My scores were 215+195+236=646 and I was high on the pair that night. I then bowled my normal Friday morning league this week, the shot was tougher this week and I used my Brunswick Siege with 1000 abralon and had a 663 with 3 opens and had scores of 245+203+215=663 and I was high for the league. Then I got the call to sub Friday night and had a 624 the shot was drier than the week, before, this shot was tough, I did have 4 open frames. I need to practice on a tougher pattern if these shots are going to be this much of a grind. Well I have been bowling more lately last Sunday I bowled in a scratch sweeper and averaged 235.2 for the 5 gamer. The field was very tough so it took a 238 average to cash. I had 4 open frames that day 2 spits and 2 10 pins. Today I bowled in my normal Friday league and had a 723 series with 3 open frames. I used my ebonite magic on the left lane and the Brunswick twisted fury solid on the right. I used 2000 abralon pad on the magic and 1000 on the twisted fury solid. My games were 246+213+264 = 723 for the series.
